Playoffs

We are down 2-1 in the playoffs. We play tonight away. This is a must win for us. Here's what has been going on

Game 2: Loss 73:65 I had 12 points, 4 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals

Game 3: Loss 66:70 I had 9 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal

April & May

We finished up April with a few games and ended up in 1st place in the league

Game VS. MBC: WIN 11 points, 1 assists, 1 rebound, 3 steals

Game VS. Ulm: WIN 19 points, 2 assists, 2 rebounds

Game VS. Bonn: LOSS 13 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal

The playoffs started on May 8 and we are playing Braunschweig in the 1st round. We won and I had 17 points

The Playoffs Are Right Around The Corner

There are only 3 more games until the playoffs start. We are lucky enough to be one of the top teams, so we will get home court advantage. I'm praying I can stay healthy and play my best my last few weeks of this season. I appreciate all the support.

Volcano Eruption & Basketball

Who would ever think they would be around to hear about a volcano erupting? A volcano in Iceland erupted last week, and the ash in the air caused MAJOR flight disruptions in Europe. I experienced it first hand because my wife was trying to fly home and her flight was cancelled.

The volcano didn't stop basketball. We played a team in Tubingen. I had 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Unfortunately we didn't get a win.

Before The Playoffs

The season is slowing down, and we only have a couple more games until the playoffs. The playoffs start May 8, 2010. Check out some pictures and a video clip from throughout the season:

What I've Been Doing

The season is coming to an end. There's only about a month until the playoffs. I'm ready to finish the season strong and head home to Dallas.

VS. Paderborn: WIN 69-84 14 points, 3 assists

VS. Trier: WIN 69-90 13 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal

VS. Giessen: WIN 58-48 12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist

Season Update

We're halfway through the season so we're getting closer to the end of the season. Here's the latest on the past couple of games:

Bremerhaven: WIN 93-77 14 pts, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal

Ludwigsburg: WIN 77-58 7 pts, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal

Braunschweig: WIN 93-80 21 pts, 3 rebounds, 3 assists

The month of March is full of away games so I will update you guys when I can.

2 Wins & The German Cup

We played Alba Berlin on 1/29. Berlin is one of the top teams in the German League. I played well that night and we got a win. The score was 68-59. I had 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists.

We played away in Dusseldorf on 2/3 and got another win. The score was 51-75. I had 15 points against Dusseldorf.

The top 8 teams in Germany play in the German Cup. We ended up playing Gottingen on their home court. Unfortunately, we weren't able to win this game. The score ended up being 79-69. I had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists.

All Star Weekend

I was selected to play on the German All Star Team. I played on the North Team with 2 of my other teammates. The South beat the North with a score of 102-92. I ended the night with 13 points. Overall, it was a great weekend.

Gottingen

We played a German team (Gottingen) at home on Tuesday night. We loss with a score of 58-72. They were a aggressive team, and they were the better team that night. I had 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist. Check out the clip below from the game.

It seems like he is this seasons Rickey Paulding (196-G-82, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Missouri) in terms of being Mr everything on the court. 'I am not Rickey Paulding (196-G-82, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Missouri), but Je Kel Foster. We never know who will score. It really doesnt matter who scores, but that we win the game', stressed Je Kel Foster. When one asks about Foster, one gets a big Paulding smile and the utmost respect ' Foster is our best offensive player. We all know what he can do. It was his turn to step up. We ask him to play point guard and he does, we ask him to score and he does, or we ask him to defend the best players and he does. The way he is playing, it just makes everyones job a lot easier. The fact that he got married might have helped his game', joked Rickey Paulding (196-G-82, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Missouri). Frankfurt got first hand of the lethal play by Foster and were unable to keep him in check. 'Foster shoots pretty well. It is really hard to stop him. He works well on pick and role and finding the open man', added Quantez Robertson (190-G-84, college: Auburn). Grayson Moyer (196-G-86, agency: Hart Sports Mngm, college: Humboldt St.) wasnt 100% fit, but saw enough of Foster in his 8:21 minutes. 'Foster can penetrate very well and hit outside shots. Frankfurt

Our friends that visited also got to see a great game against Frankfurt. This was an away game for us so my wife drove them to Frankfurt to check out the game. We beat the Frankfurt team with a score of 75-69. I had 23 points, 2 assists, and 6 rebounds.

Playing With Heart

Last year, a Greek team (Panathinaikos Athens) won the Euroleague Championship. We loss to them in Athens, and then we played them at home on January 13. It was by far one of the best games of the season. The fans were going crazy. It was a close game, but we loss with a score of 64-67. I had 15 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 3 rebounds.

Spain & Germany

We played Real Madrid on January 6. Madrid is one of the top teams in the Euroleague. It was a good game, but we ended up losing 73-60. I had 11 points, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 rebounds.

We played a German team (Phoenix Hagen) after suffering a loss to Madrid. We beat them with a score of 77:63. I had 11 points, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 3 rebounds.

Season High

We played a German team, Bamberg, last Saturday! I had a season high of 27 points. IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT. I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON!!!
